The house comprises a semi-detached chalet over looking the first 9 holes of the course through a woodland setting.

It has a south-westerly aspect and there can be dramatic sunsets to the distant mountains.

Centrally heated, the property is comprehensively equipped with TV (UK terrestrial channels plus Sky News), video and DVD, hi-fi system, bedding, towels and a full range of cookware, crockery, cutlery and utensils. Internet and telephone line are connected.

There is a communal pool (unheated), serving about 16 homes on a lawned area to the rear of the property which is open between June and September. The Clubhouse is about a 5 minute walk away, where there is a small bar serving snacks and a full restaurant open during daytime hours.

There are medium-term plans for development of a hotel and resort facility – manana!

The house has been conceived as a second home – the windows are shuttered, gardens hard-landscaped and auto-sprinklered. We have a delightful maid who visits once a week and her husband is an electrician and plumber. The swimming pool is communal so the maintenance is dealt with by the Community. You can lock the door and go home with peace of mind.

Note: - Although there is no building work in the immediate vicinity of Casa Christina, Golf Girona is still under development.
